Home track help needed
TIPTON — The Tipton outdoor track and field season is less than a month away and there is a need for help in working the home meets this season. It has been a long tradition in Tipton to host many outdoor track meets, probably one of the most aggressive schools to do so. To continue this tradition, workers are needed, up to 30 per meet and seven home dates possibly.
Training will be provided with information to make it possible for you to be comfortable in performing your assigned duties. If you haven’t helped before and have held back because of a lack of knowledge, please consider giving it a try this season.
Home Meet Schedule:
Tuesday, March 28 HS Co-Ed
Thursday, April 6 Tiger Relays
Monday, April 10 MS Co-Ed
Thursday, April 13 Tigerette Relays
Tuesday, April 18 HS Co-Ed
Tuesday, May 2 MS Co-Ed
Thursday, May 11 Likely 2A District Meet
If you are interested in helping, please contact Tipton athletic director Troy Smock at the high school, at 563-886-6027, ext 1107 or Troy.Smock@tipton.k12.ia.us. All meets start either at 4:00 or 4:30 with running events starting at 5:00 at all of the high school meets.
